As we wait for guidance from State and Local Government, we would like to inform our esteemed partners of the precautions and procedures we will be putting into place across our brands: Paddlewheeler Creole Queen, Riverboat Louis Armstrong, Airport Shuttle New Orleans, Jean Lafitte Swamp Tours, and New Orleans Tours.

Your health is of the utmost importance to us. To mitigate the impact of the coronavirus, we are taking the following extra steps in addition to adhering to our stringent health standards, as recommended by and in accordance with the Passenger Vessel Association (PVA) and the Jefferson Parish Back to Business Plan:

All Properties

·      Employees will be required to utilize hand sanitizer and hand washing frequently on a consistent schedule

·      Employees will have their temperature checked before each shift and will be required to wear facemasks

·      Sanitizing stations will be available to all guests

·      Drivers and captains will be visually monitoring guests for signs of illness, anyone suspected to be sick with COVID-19 may be asked to leave as per PVA guidelines

·      All surfaces will be thoroughly sanitized between each cruise or ride

·      Guests will be required to maintain a six-foot safe social distance between themselves and others at all times

New Orleans Paddlewheels

·      Doors will be open to allow air to circulate

·      All food will be served – no customers will have contact with food stations

·      Seating will be reduced to allow for more space between tables

·      Food and beverage workers will wear PPE and will utilize disinfectant spray to sanitize surfaces before and after all cruises

·      Plexiglass dividers between all sales staff, captains, and guests where interactions take place

·      We’re always jazzed to welcome visitors onboard our vessels and tours but will ask that those who are feeling sick stay ashore

New Orleans Tours and Airport Shuttle New Orleans

·      Air-sanitizing units on all vehicles

·      Plastic dividers are being installed behind the driver on all vehicles

We are taking the COVID-19 situation very seriously and will continue to monitor updates from the CDC, City, State, and Federal governments accordingly. During this unique time, we plan to keep all of our customers updated on any schedule or capacity requirement changes and always strive to act in the best interest of our employees and patrons.

All Hospitality Enterprises, Inc. / BigEasy.com attractions will abide by any capacity rules put in place by State and Local governments. Any events or charters booked will be subject to changes if required by the government. We can’t wait to start planning with you!

March-17-2020 | In accordance with the new advisements from state officials, we will cease tour operations on Airport Shuttle, Jean Lafitte Swamp Tour, the Paddlewheeler Creole Queen, and the Riverboat Louis Armstrong until further notice. Due to the drastic negative impact of the Coronavirus on our tourism companies’ revenue and the near-term future business outlook, we are presently not able to offer a refund. When conditions improve and our income stream stabilizes, we will provide refunds to our guests in the order the requests were received. We apologize for not being able to return your payment at this time, but we can offer the chance to re-schedule your activity at any time in the future with no expiration on credit of a previously paid for tour, provided that is an option. We appreciate your business and patience with this unprecedented situation.

New Orleans Paddlewheels remains resolute in providing cherished entertainment, amusements, and the chance to make memories of our wonderful city for those that call at home, those that visit, and those who will visit us soon. As a company, we have been hand in hand with the City of New Orleans and her citizens through many moments of uncertainty over the past four decades. We have weathered the storm with you and come out on the other side together.

As of March 19, 2020, all of our offices are all currently shut down due to the Coronavirus pandemic. If you need immediate assistance, please email reservations@bigeasy.com and someone will get back with you as soon as possible.

Please keep an eye on our social media pages for updates and announcements. And remember, be kind to one another. We’ll get through this together.
