Our famous Voodoo History Tours explores the mysterious world of Voodoo in New Orleans. This educational, historical walking tour dispels the Hollywood myths and stigma surrounding one of the most misunderstood and feared religions in the world. This tour visits actual Voodoo altars and tells the tales of Old New Orleans when a hysteria gripped the city for over one hundred years.

Laura plantation represents the many different cultural influences at play in the South during this time period: initially, the plantation was built and run by a French Creole family and was later turned over to a German family who ran it for nearly 100 years.
